# Pareto chart

This chart makes it easy to spot the top performers among your dimensions over the selected period. The chart is drawn based on the A, B and C groups and the measure you set.

## How to use <a href="#guide" id="guide"></a>

Once you've set the data source, dimensions and data filters on the Data tab, click **Pareto** in the type grid on the **Chart** tab of the settings panel on the right.

1. Click the **Chart** tab in the settings panel on the right, then click **Pareto** in the type grid.

2. Choose the **ABC basis measure** and the **Cumulative % method**.

* You can only choose measures you've set in the data source on the **Data** tab. To add a measure, add the measure you want to visualize to the data source and try again.
* Handy when...👍\
  You want to calculate cumulative statistics across several dimensions and see rankings in the order of the dimensions you set.\
  e.g. Comparing revenue by brand / sales channel, revenue by brand / sales channel / product, or CTR by ad channel / campaign / creative.

3. Under **Thresholds**, set the **A boundary** and **B boundary**.

Items are A until the cumulative share reaches the A boundary, B until it reaches the B boundary, and C for the rest. **Show ABC grades** in the table uses the same thresholds.
