# ChatGPT

1. Go to **`Settings`** at the bottom left of ChatGPT.

2. In **`Settings`**, open the **`Security & login`** menu and turn on **`Developer mode`**.

3. In ChatGPT settings, open the **`Plugins`** menu and select **`Browse plugins`** (the menu location may vary slightly depending on your plan and version).

4. Click the **`+`** button to the right of the plugin search at the top.

5. Enter **`Laplace Analytics`** as the name and **`https://gateway.laplacetec.com/mcp`** as the server address (MCP Server URL), and choose OAuth as the authentication method.

6. Click Create, and the Laplace login screen opens. Sign in with your Laplace account.

7. Click the **`Allow Access`** button.

8. Enter your Laplace account.

**Enter the account you use to sign in to Laplace.**

If the account details are entered incorrectly, the MCP connection may fail. Check your sign-in method (regular login vs. Google login) and the account you sign in with before continuing.

9. In a new chat, click the **`+ button`**, then under **`Connectors`** you can turn **`Laplace Analytics`** on or off and choose its context.

Click Add on Laplace Analytics to see the list of reference documents. You can also just ask ChatGPT directly.
