# Perplexity

The **`Custom connectors`** menu isn't shown on the free plan. A **Pro or higher paid plan** is required.

1. In the left menu, open **`Connectors`** under **`Customize`** and select **`Add custom connector`**.

2. Enter **`Laplace Analytics`** as the name and **`https://gateway.laplacetec.com/mcp`** as the server address (MCP Server URL), and choose OAuth as the authentication method.

3. Select **`Laplace Analytics`**, which has been added under Custom.

4. Click the **`+ Add connection`** button, and the Laplace login screen opens. Sign in with your Laplace account.

5. Click the **`Allow Access`** button.

6. Enter your Laplace account.

**Enter the account you use to sign in to Laplace.**

If the account details are entered incorrectly, the MCP connection may fail. Check your sign-in method (regular login vs. Google login) and the account you sign in with before continuing.

7. You can see that it has been added under Connected.
8. In a new chat, click the **`+ button`**, then click **`Laplace Analytics`** to use the MCP you registered!

Click Add on Laplace Analytics to see the list of reference documents. You can also just ask Perplexity directly.
