# Connect Channel Talk

## Channel Talk connection guide

1. Click **Data Connect** in the left rail, then type Channel Talk in **Search connectors** in the navigation panel, or click **Connect Channel Talk** in the **Connect CS Data** category.

2. Click the **Data Connect** button on the right side of the **Connect Channel Talk** screen header.

If you haven't connected an account yet, the connector screen shows **What you can analyze once connected**. Click **View sample** to preview, with sample data, the screens available after connecting. Also check **How to connect** and **Before you start** at the bottom of the screen for the connection steps and what to prepare.

3. Enter your Access Key and Access Secret under **Connection Info** in the connection window, then click **Connect Channel Talk Account**.

* Connected accounts appear in the connection table on the connector screen. From ⋯ (**More actions**) on the right of a row, you can **Refresh** and **Renew Authentication**. Check progress in **Jobs & data status** on the right of the top bar.

## Create a Channel Talk API key

1. In Channel Talk, go to 「설정」(Settings) > 「보안 및 개발」(Security & Development) > 「API」.

2. Click 「+새 인증키 만들기」(+ Create new key) at the top right and enter a key name.

3. Copy the generated Access Key and Access Secret and enter them in Laplace.

Key names are hard to change later. Choose a name that's easy to tell apart.

If the generated API key is deleted, the connection to Laplace may break. Make sure the API key isn't deleted!
