# Connect Imweb

This connector is for stores operating in Korea.

Imweb accounts are either operators or sub-operators. Operators can connect without any extra setup. Sub-operators can connect only if the operator has delegated app permissions to their account. For details on connecting a sub-operator account, see (→ Sub-operator app permission settings).

## Imweb connection guide

1. Go to Imweb (<https://imweb.me/>), then **from the top menu** → go to **「내 사이트」(My sites)**.

2. Click the **「관리」(Manage)** button for the site you want to connect to go to the admin page.

3. On the admin page, in the site settings list on the left, click **「환경설정」(Settings)** → **「외부 서비스 연동(API)」(External service integration (API))**, then click **「API Key 발급받기」(Get API Key)**.

4. Note the **API Key** and **Secret Key**.

5. Return to Laplace, click **Data Connect** in the left rail, then type Imweb in **Search connectors** in the navigation panel, or click **Imweb Connect** in the **Connect your store** category. Click **Data Connect** on the right side of the **Imweb Connect** screen header to open the connection window. **How to connect** at the top of the window shows your current step. Under **Connection Info**, enter the **Site URL** and click **Confirm**.

If you haven't connected an account yet, the connector screen shows **What you can analyze once connected**. Click **View sample** to preview, with sample data, the screens available after connecting.

6. In the **Data authentication** step, enter your **API Key** and **Secret Key**.

> * Enter the **API Key** you got from Imweb.
> * Enter the **Secret Key** you got from Imweb.
> * Enter all information accurately in the input fields and click **Connect** to connect Imweb.

1\. Note that if you **`delete or regenerate`** your **`API Key or Secret Key`**, you may need to `reconnect`.

* Connected accounts appear in the connection table on the connector screen. From ⋯ (**More actions**) on the right of a row, you can **Refresh** and **Renew Authentication**.
* Laplace imports all data since the store was founded, so **it can take an hour or more if there's a lot of data**.

**Why does the data connection take so long?**

👉 Laplace doesn't just import your Imweb data: it also cleans the data and builds charts from it. The more data you have, the longer it may take.

💬 Check progress in **Jobs & data status** on the right of the top bar. We'll also email you when the connection is complete. Collection continues even if you close Laplace, so feel free to close it.

## Reconnecting a site whose API key has changed

If the API Key and Secret Key of your Imweb site change, data can't be imported from the date of the change. To refresh data for a site whose API Key and Secret Key have changed, you need to connect it once more in Laplace.

If your Imweb site's API Key and Secret Key have changed, follow the guide below to reconnect.

1. Click **Data Connect** on the right side of the **Imweb Connect** screen header to open the connection window.

2. Enter the **Site URL** of the site to reconnect and click **Confirm**, then enter the changed **API Key** and **Secret Key** and click **Connect**.

3. Once you enter the changed details, the data connection restarts.

All data since the store was founded is imported again, so it can take 30 minutes or more. Check progress in **Jobs & data status** on the right of the top bar. We'll also email you when the connection is complete.

Once account details are registered, data is refreshed automatically until the account details change again. In other words, after you connect once, daily data is updated automatically as long as the account details don't change.

## When Imweb can't be connected

If you signed up through an Imweb partner

The version of Imweb used by partners differs from the Imweb version that can connect to Laplace, so they aren't compatible.

👉 The only solution is to **switch to being a direct Imweb customer** rather than an Imweb partner customer; then you can connect to Laplace.
