# Connect Shopby

This connector is for stores operating in Korea.

This guide explains how to connect your Shopby data to Laplace. Shopby connects automatically when you install the Laplace app from the NHN COMMERCE App Store.
### Step 1. Data Connect in Laplace
1. Click **Data Connect** in the left rail, then type Shopby in **Search connectors** in the navigation panel, or click **Shopby Connect** in the **Connect your store** category.

If you haven't connected an account yet, the connector screen shows **What you can analyze once connected**. Click **View sample** to preview, with sample data, the screens available after connecting. Also check **How to connect** and **Before you start** at the bottom of the screen for the connection steps and what to prepare.

2. Click **Data Connect** on the right side of the **Shopby Connect** screen header to open the connection window. **How to connect** at the top of the window shows your current step.
3. In **Connect by installing the app** in the **Shopby Connect** window, click **Install the Shopby app and connect** to open the Laplace Analytics installation page on the NHN COMMERCE (Godomall) App Store in a new window.

**Before you start**
* A Shopby main admin account (one that can install apps)
* Allow pop-ups in your browser so the app installation page can open in a new window

### Step 2. Install Laplace Analytics in your Shopby shop
1. Click the install button.
2. Sign in with your Godomall/Shopby integrated member account.
3. In the Shopby admin page, click the run button for Laplace Analytics in the app list.
4. When the Shopby app installation is complete, you return to Laplace, authorization is confirmed automatically, and data starts coming in from Shopby. If the new window doesn't close after installation, close it yourself and return to Laplace.
* Connected accounts appear in the connection table on the connector screen. From ⋯ (**More actions**) on the right of a row, you can **Refresh** and **Renew Authentication**.

**My authorization has expired.**
👉 For Shopby, you renew by reinstalling and reauthorizing the Laplace app from the App Store. Click **Renew Authentication** from ⋯ (**More actions**) on the right of the row in the connection table, then proceed with **Reinstall the Shopby app and authorize**.

Laplace imports all data since the store was founded, so **it can take an hour or more if there's a lot of data**.

**Why does the data connection take so long?**
👉 Laplace doesn't just import your Shopby data: it also cleans the data and builds charts from it. The more data you have, the longer it may take.
💬 Check progress in **Jobs & data status** on the right of the top bar. We'll also email you when the connection is complete. Collection continues even if you close Laplace, so feel free to close it.
