# Connect SmartStore

This connector is for stores operating in Korea.

To connect, register **「라플라스 애널리틱스」(Laplace Analytics)** as the API agency for both **「상품 API」(Product API)** and **「주문 API」(Order API)** in SmartStore Center, then enter your **「API 연동용 판매자 ID」(Seller ID for API integration)** in Laplace. **If you register only one of the two APIs**, the connection won't complete, so be sure to follow the steps in order.

## How to connect SmartStore
1. Click **Data Connect** on the left rail, then type SmartStore in **Search connectors** in the navigation panel, or click **SmartStore Connect** in the **Connect your store** category.

If you haven't connected an account yet, the connector screen shows **What you can analyze once connected**. Click **View sample** to preview, with sample data, the screens you'll see after connecting.

2. In SmartStore Center, go to **「스토어 관리」(Store management) > 「스토어 설정」(Store settings) > 「API 관리」(API management)**, set **「API 사용 설정」(API usage)** to **「사용」(Use)**, then register **「라플라스 애널리틱스」(Laplace Analytics)** for both **「상품 API」(Product API)** and **「주문 API」(Order API)** under **「API 대행사」(API agency)** and save.

**You must register both the Product API and the Order API.**
👉 If you register only one, authentication may fail, or data for the unregistered API can't be imported and your charts may look empty.

3. Back in Laplace, on the **SmartStore Connect** screen, click **Data Connect** on the right of the header to open the connection window. **How to connect** at the top of the window shows which step you're on. In **Connection Info**, enter your SmartStore seller ID for API integration and click the **Confirm** button.

⚠️ Entering your SmartStore login ID won't work. You must enter the "**Seller ID for API integration**" for data to be collected correctly.

**Where can I find the seller ID for API integration?**
👉 You can find it in SmartStore Center under **「스토어 관리」(Store management) > 「스토어 설정」(Store settings) > 「API 관리」(API management)**.

4. Once both the agency registration and seller ID are verified, the connection window shows **Checking store info**, and Laplace reads your store information and immediately starts importing data. The connection continues even if you close this window.

**Finish the agency registration before clicking Confirm.**
👉 Authentication completes the moment you click it. If you click it before the agency is registered, an error message appears and the connection isn't submitted.
👉 In that case, register **「라플라스 애널리틱스」(Laplace Analytics)** for both **「상품 API」(Product API)** and **「주문 API」(Order API)** and save, then click **Confirm** again in Laplace. Leaving the screen open won't retry automatically.

* Connected accounts appear in the connection table on the connector screen. Use ⋯ (**More actions**) on the right of a row to **Refresh** or **Renew Authentication**.
Laplace imports all data since the store opened, so **with a large amount of data it can take more than an hour**.

**Why does the data sync take so long?**
👉 Laplace doesn't just import your SmartStore data: it also cleans the imported data and builds charts from it. The more data you have, the longer this can take.
💬 You can track progress in **Jobs & data status** on the right of the top bar, and we'll also email you when the sync is complete. Collection continues even if you close Laplace, so feel free to close it.

## Register the API agency
1. In SmartStore Center, go to **「스토어 관리」(Store management) > 「스토어 설정」(Store settings) > 「API 관리」(API management)**.
2. Set **「API 사용 설정」(API usage)** to **「사용」(Use)**.
3. In the **「상품 API」(Product API)** and **「주문 API」(Order API)** dropdowns under **「API 대행사」(API agency)**, select **「라플라스 애널리틱스」(Laplace Analytics)** for each.
4. Click the **「저장」(Save)** button at the bottom.

**You must register both the Product API and the Order API.**
👉 If you register only one, data for the unregistered API can't be imported and your charts may look empty.

**Another agency is already registered.**
👉 You don't need to remove the existing agency. Use the **「+ 대행사추가」(+ Add agency)** button to register **「라플라스 애널리틱스」(Laplace Analytics)** as an additional agency.

**What information is collected when I register Laplace as an agency?**
👉 Only product and order data is read. Payment information isn't modified and settlement account information isn't collected, so you can register with confidence.

## Find the seller ID for API integration
1. In the left navigation bar, go to **「스토어관리」(Store management) > 「스토어 설정」(Store settings) > 「API 관리」(API management)**.
2. Find your seller ID for API integration.
* Copy the ID as shown in the image, paste it into **Connection Info** in the Laplace connection window, and click the **Confirm** button.

Entering the API ID from the API usage settings won't connect. You must enter the seller ID for API integration to connect successfully.

## FAQ

How do I change the brand name?
🛠 Changing the brand name is a planned feature. If you need to change it, contact Laplace and our engineers will take care of it quickly.

Data from a brand I no longer operate is coming in.
🛠 Laplace connectors import all data in the connected account. If data from a store you don't need is coming in, go to **Settings** › **Data source**, turn off **In analysis** for that store, and click **Save and regenerate**. Collection continues even when it's excluded from analysis. Deletion is a planned feature; contact the Laplace team and we'll delete the data for you.

I registered the agency but authentication still fails.
🛠 The agency may be registered for only one of **「상품 API」(Product API)** and **「주문 API」(Order API)**. In SmartStore Center under **「스토어 관리」(Store management) > 「스토어 설정」(Store settings) > 「API 관리」(API management)**, check that **「라플라스 애널리틱스」(Laplace Analytics)** is registered for both and that you clicked **「저장」(Save)**, then click **Confirm** again in Laplace.

It's connected, but no data is coming in.
🛠 The agency may be registered for only one API. Once you register both, data is imported normally from the next collection cycle without reconnecting.
