# Connect VReview

This guide explains how to request an API key and provide it so you can connect your VReview (VREVIEW) data to Laplace.

## Step 1. Request a VReview API key <a href="#step-1" id="step-1"></a>

VReview API keys are issued after a review by their operations team. Self-service issuance isn't supported; you need to request one directly from the Indent Corp. operations team.

### 1. How to request <a href="#step-1-1" id="step-1-1"></a>

Send your request to this email address: <cs@indentcorp.com>

What to include in your request:

Hello, I'd like to request an API key for VReview Admin API integration.

- Store name: [Store name]
- Store URL: [<https://example-shop.com>]
- Purpose: Laplace data analytics integration
- API to be used: VReview review API
- Expected call frequency: once a day

Please issue an ACCESS_KEY_ID and SECRET_ACCESS_KEY.
```

### 2. What you'll receive <a href="#step-1-2" id="step-1-2"></a>

Once the review is complete, VReview sends you the following two items.

* `ACCESS_KEY_ID`: a public key that identifies your store
* `SECRET_ACCESS_KEY`: a secret key used for API authentication

> `SECRET_ACCESS_KEY` works like a password. Be careful not to expose it.

## Step 2. Connect VReview in Laplace <a href="#step-2" id="step-2"></a>

1. Log in to Laplace and click **Data Connect** on the left rail.
2. Type VReview in **Search connectors** in the navigation panel, or click **VReview Connect** in the **Connect Review Data** category.

3. On the **VReview Connect** screen, click the **Data Connect** button on the right of the header.

If you haven't connected an account yet, the connector screen shows **What you can analyze once connected**. Click **View sample** to preview, with sample data, the screens you'll see after connecting. Also check **How to connect** and **Before you start** at the bottom of the screen for the connection steps and what to prepare.

4. In **Connection Info** in the connection window, enter the issued `ACCESS_KEY_ID` and `SECRET_ACCESS_KEY` in **Access Key ID** and **Secret Access Key** respectively, then click the **Connect VReview Account** button.

5. Once connected, click ⋯ (**More actions**) on the right of the row in the connection table, then click **Refresh**.

* You can track progress in **Jobs & data status** on the right of the top bar, and we'll also email you when the sync is complete. If your keys change, reconnect with **Renew VReview Authentication** under **Renew Authentication** in the same menu.
