## How to connect online sales

1. First, create a sheet to upload the data to. To create one:
   * Click **Data Connect** on the left rail, go to **Connect with Spreadsheet** › **Order data** in the navigation panel, click **Data Connect** on the right of the **Connect order data from Google Sheets** screen header, and click **Create spreadsheet** in the connection window.
2. Go to the created sheet.
3. Fill it in according to Method 1 or Method 2 in the bottom tabs. We recommend Method 1.
4. To use Method 1, create a sheet for the channel you're connecting in the bottom tabs, e.g. "Olive".
5. Upload the data you downloaded from each channel to its sheet.
6. Return to Laplace and click the **Next** button.
7. You need to match the uploaded data to the columns defined by Laplace. Click the **Matching** button to the right of the uploaded sheet.

![The Matching button in the tab list](https://616205588-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2Fqr1veGyUqCNwQBBmk3yt%2Fuploads%2Fgit-blob-ce849e7cd80dc5a8f816997292ffc8383e50da2d%2Fstartguide__connect__spreadsheet__order__oliveyoung__01.png?alt=media)
8. Match the data according to the example table below.

   | Laplace | New version |
   | ----------------- | ---------------------------------------- |
   | Payment date/time | 기준일 (Base date) |
   | Shop | Brand name\_Olive Young (enter directly) |
   | Brand | Brand name (enter directly) |
   | Sales channel | Olive Young (enter directly) |
   | Payment amount | 주문액 (Order amount) |
   | Product name | 상품명 (Product name) |
   | Product ID | 상품코드 (Product code) |

   | Quantity | 판매수량 (Units sold) |

   * Be sure to enter the shop, brand, and sales channel with **(Enter directly)** on the column matching screen!
9. Once it's set up as above, click **Save** on the column matching screen to start the sync.

## How to connect offline sales

1. Set up the data
   1. If you enter a period such as "06/02 \~ 06/08" in the **Date** column, the database can't read it. Enter the date on which each sale occurred.
   2. Example 1 (if you know the store's sales for each day)

      1. Enter the units sold and sales amount for each product on each date.

      | Date | Product name | Units sold | Sales amount |
      | ---------- | ------------------ | ---------- | ------------ |
      | 2025-06-02 | Laplace Bodyline S | 1 | 20,000 |
      | 2025-06-03 | Laplace Bodyline S | 2 | 40,000 |
      | 2025-06-04 | Laplace Bodyline S | 3 | 60,000 |
      | 2025-06-05 | Laplace Bodyline S | 1 | 20,000 |
      | 2025-06-06 | Laplace Bodyline S | 5 | 100,000 |
      | 2025-06-07 | Laplace Bodyline S | 1 | 20,000 |
      | 2025-06-08 | Laplace Bodyline S | 1 | 20,000 |
   3. Example 2 (if the store's sales are reported weekly)

      1. Use the first date of each week: for "06/02 \~06/08", enter "2025-06-02".

      | Date | Product name | Units sold | Sales amount |
      | ---------- | ------------------- | ---------- | ------------ |
      | 2025-06-02 | Laplace Bodyline S | 14 | 280,000 |
      | 2025-06-02 | Laplace Bodyline M | 15 | 300,000 |
      | 2025-06-02 | Laplace Bodyline L | 8 | 160,000 |
      | 2025-06-02 | Laplace Bodyline XL | 9 | 180,000 |
      | 2025-06-09 | Laplace Bodyline S | 10 | 200,000 |
      | 2025-06-09 | Laplace Bodyline M | 18 | 360,000 |
      | 2025-06-09 | Laplace Bodyline L | 11 | 220,000 |
2. Exclude online units and sales amounts from the data. (You've already connected the "online" sheet, so adding online units and sales to the June sheet would duplicate the data!)
3. Create a sheet: Proceed the same way as before (steps 3-6 are the same as before).
   * **Data Connect** on the left rail › **Connect with Spreadsheet** in the navigation panel › **Order data** › **Data Connect** in the header › **Create spreadsheet**
4. Upload your data to the created sheet.
5. Renaming the sheet to "OliveYoung\_Offline" makes it easier to manage your files later!
6. In Laplace, find the sheet where you uploaded the file and click the **Matching** button on the right.
7. Match the data according to the example table below.

   | Laplace | New version |
   | ----------------- | ------------------------------------------------ |
   | Payment date/time | Date |
   | Shop | Brand name\_OliveYoung\_Offline (enter directly) |
   | Brand | Brand name (enter directly) |
   | Sales channel | OliveYoung\_Offline (enter directly) |
   | Payment amount | Sales amount |
   | Product name | Product name |
   | Product ID | Product code |
   | Quantity | Units sold |

   * Be sure to enter the shop, brand, and sales channel with **(Enter directly)** on the column matching screen!
8. When you're done, click the **Save** button on the column matching screen.

* For this data too, when you add more, append it to the bottom of the sheet, then click ⋯ (**More actions**) › **Refresh** on the sheet row in Laplace to refresh the data.

## How to refresh data

Once it's set up as above, refreshing the data (daily updates) is a bit easier.

1. Expand the connection row in the table on the **Connect order data from Google Sheets** screen to see the list of connected sheets, as shown below. Click the URL to go to the connected sheet.

<figure><img src="https://616205588-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2Fqr1veGyUqCNwQBBmk3yt%2Fuploads%2Fgit-blob-c3e6ed2dc4bc8cb05574b978d60116b10537a80e%2Fstartguide__connect__spreadsheet__order__oliveyoung__03.png?alt=media" alt="Sheet list in an expanded connection row" width="669"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>
2. Paste the new data below the existing data in that sheet.
3. Return to Laplace, click ⋯ (**More actions**) on the right of the uploaded sheet's row, and click **Refresh**.

   <figure><img src="https://616205588-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2Fqr1veGyUqCNwQBBmk3yt%2Fuploads%2Fgit-blob-9a634b34cfbf46df150a561bd1c25163f1d9063b%2Fstartguide__connect__spreadsheet__order__oliveyoung__04.png?alt=media" alt="Refresh in the sheet row&#x27;s More actions menu" width="669"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>
4. It usually takes about 30 minutes to 1 hour for the data to be fully reflected.
